Hi,
I would like to offer some requests.

1. Would it be possible to have Artist related events (for single artist gigs) as well as the normal events.
2. I would like to see the obfuscation of the MP3 filename or something to stop downloading so easily.
3. Ability to Register users to site.
4. Storing of playlist against a logged in / registered user.
5. Increase the search to include events.
6. Add ability to fast forward / rewind using the audio player track time bar.
7. Ability to add price to Album and Track.
8. Add a shopping cart / link to shopping cart
9. Fix issue with mobile and player sticking to top of screen and not bottom.

I think the theme is great, and only want to make it better, I think these additions will help.

1- It would be great to see if we can choose on which page we can display the custom search.

2- It would be amazing if we can customise the custom search bar as if, if it is a “Videos” page custom search should only be limited to video search and nothing else, if it is an “Artists” page then the visitor be able to search only for artists and so on…

3- It would be nice if we can localise the text related to “custom search” such as “Tracks”, “Artists”, “DJ Mixes” from the theme options menu.

1- It would be really awesome if there was “artist” section within “video posts” so that we can choose which video is related to which artist. It is like the way we manage single album posts where we’re able to choose the artist. In short I would be happy to choose artists on video posts.

2- It would also be great if we can see in single artist page, the related videos of the artist, like we’re able to see the related albums of the artist.

MUSICPLAY is a wonderful wordpress theme, but for a music theme miss a custom post for lyrics… lyrics that gets linked with album which gets linked up with artist… DJ Mix could do this role of lyrics… yet I await this update on this issue in order to use it fully. Let’s think about it?

Hi,
I would like to suggest few things:

1.for the search bar below the menu and logo.
If we can choose what filter to use for searching and the dropdown item would be great. User can choose item from dropdown,and then click search button.

2.For mp3 upload
Right now,we have to upload new mp3 each time we add album or djmix. If we can choose from previously uploaded mp3 would be great.

I would love to see:

• – Support for the https://wordpress.org/plugins/amazon-s3-and-cloudfront/ plugin, including when media is removed from the original server. Given the media heavy nature of this theme’s use (lots of music files), it would be especially useful. Currently, featured images are not recognized by the theme if this plugin is used.
• – Cleaner options page… the interface is nice, but there are several options that I struggle to locate and have had to change manually in MySQL, such as enable/disable the event countdown clock.
• – Clearer documentation on how the files in your child theme folder work. I am used to using child themes, but the many functions you provide are confusing, and overwriting certain files (such as widgets, in the frameworks/widgets directory) break the feature. Child themes should work easily by default without needing your ATP_Theme class code in the child theme.

Hello, and thank you for this excellent theme.

I would like to suggest the option within the music player to be able to “scrub” back and forth on the track timeline; so as to be able to skip to certain parts of the track that is playing, perhaps a little ball/dot at the end of the progress line to be able to facilitate this ability. Even showing the cache buffer and being able to do so within that would be nice.

If this is as simple as a few lines of code I’d be happy to implement it on my own, but I’ll need a little guidance on where and what to include/add.

Hello, I wanted to let you know about a few questions I’ve seen earlier, that I have answers to from my own experience if there are answers as yet.

Radio and Album/Local/External music in the same player: I was able to take a radio stream that I’ve created via the same methods and ShoutCast and IceCast and have been able to paste the URL into an album as an external music source, upon clicking play, it buffers the track and starts. This was one can avoid using one or the other, and some fancy dealing with subdomains and the redirecting of links that comes with that.

MixCloud: I have songs that are posted on MixCloud and I am able to link the track directly to the player in my site, the purchase link however still directs one to the MixCloud page (this is ok in my opinion, it keeps me from having to deal with the payments etc.)

Hi, When adding songs to the album page via ” External MP3″ it would be nice to have a much easy way of organizing the mp3 bring added , like adding a “Move to top” button or “Move Up by One” button.

Having to click and Drag the song all the way to the top is frustrating. Thank You

Hi, would be great to have an option of a search button on the homepage and other pages in the header. I’m just using a widget at the moment in the menu. The ability to take the genre and label buttons off pages that do not require them (i.e events, blog pages etc).
For the theme to work well with Ajax based pagination plugins (seems to be RS and grid based ones for me). The suggestion above for working with cloud based plugins would also be a great solution for large media files.

I love the theme, have manipulated it quite a bit but still it’s fun customizing.

I’d really like if the player was a bit more dynamic, interactive, digital looking.
I have designed a radio streaming website, each page is a different radio channel.

The player will only show now playing info for the stream you set in the back-end player options.

On my website I have the album view displayed down the front page center area,
In the sidebar I have the DJMix list displayed.

It would be great if the player could fetch the now playing info from each stream
If you click on either the album or dj mix views, the player would display now playing info.

Also maybe a graphic EQ that interacts with the playing tune, like webgl or something?
And maybe if the player could display the now playing song image or station logo as well.
So no matter which stream a user might click on, it will load the relevant stream’s info.

Maybe this is more custom work than a request, but it would look much nicer I think.

Thanks for your input @sounds but unfortunately we will be dropping the theme for sale on http://www.themeforest.net after May month so we will not be able to add any additional features on it. Thanks 🙂

Musicplay Discography as a new theme for musicians will be launched and Musicplay Radio for only radio stations will be launched.
