Hello,

I was able find and change the color of the bottom subheader border divider, but I’m needing to change the color of the gray top subheader border divider, and can’t seem to find where to make this change..what file and line of code is this located at?

mmmmmm I’ve been attempting to change within the Styling –> Custom CSS menu the color #eb0000 to #000000 to see if perhaps to would look better, but it’s not changing colors…

I can change it by taking the Header Style 1 code from the styles.css file and placing it the child theme’s styles.css file, of course..Does this mean there could be an issue with the Custom CSS menu?

I would recommend you to Install Firebug for firefox or if you are using Google Chrome then right click and inspect the element which you wish to modify and see the element and check its properties in the right pane or the element debugger area.

I do use Firebug, and in this case it didn’t pin point this element as being part of the header, it showed it as being a part of the subheader..Anyways, I think your misunderstanding what I was trying to say..the code you placed within the Styling –> Custom CSS menu with the color #eb0000 works fine, but if I try to change the color within the menu it won’t change it..Yet, if I go and grab the Header Style 1 code from the styles.css file and place it the child theme’s styles.css file and change the color it works…

For now, I’ve just went ahead and inserted the Header Style 1 code from the styles.css file and have placed it in the child theme’s styles.css file as this works and I’m able to play around with changing the color..Thanks for your help 🙂
