In case you weren’t already aware, the Hopes theme does not seem to be fully compatible with the newer versions of Visual Composer (starting at v 5.2). Whenever VC is upgraded, you are no longer able to edit row settings in a page.

Any update on this? I just updated to VC 5.4.4 and I am still not able to edit row settings inside the page builder.

When I try its working fine for us. We will still investigate again as WordPress latest version is released. Will update once we find something.

Hi – I have spent some time debugging the Visual Composer 5.2+ Row Settings issue, and it seems to be related to line 29 in /hopes/page_builder/add_ons/shortcode_extra_cases.php:

vc_add_shortcode_param(‘vc_pattern’, ‘vc_pattern_settings_field’,get_template_directory_uri().’/page_builder/add_ons/js/vc_pattern.js’);

I commented out that line, and I could once again edit row settings on the new version of VC.
