Can you tell me why the front page teaser is on top of the slider and what I can do to fix this?

Is it possible to embedd a (YouTube or Vimeo) video within this EI slider or one of the other sliders enclosed in this theme?

If yes:

• can the (main) size of the slider be maintained (ie. 1920x450px) or will it show the full size/ratio?
• can more slides be added or just that one video?
• will it be responsive automatically or does it require further coding?

Please advise.

Kindly please remove the teaser content from theme options panel and use the teaser callout shortcode in the content editor area in the frontpage.

If you have any doubt please contact us via Skype where we can share a screen with you and show you a demo or if you can provide us the WP Logins then we can setup the content as you seek.

Sorry but my Skype isn’t working properly. Needs fixing.

I can’t see any shortcodes for teaser nor callouts in the Shortcodes Generator. I tried several without any luck. Can you tell which one I need to use?

And can you also revert on the question about video please?

• can more slides (images or whatever) be added besides the video or just that one video?
• will it be responsive automatically or does it require further coding to achieve responsive video?

I am not sure what more info you require…

Thanks for the info. You can’t include video in the EI Slider but you can display only 1 video in video slider. But it will stretch automatically. I would suggest you to use Revolution Slider which has all the functionality you are looking for i think.

Hi Maqk,

Meanwhile I have created a revolution slider with a video. Changed the settings in theme options to Custom Slider and inserted the Custom Slider Shortcode, but the site still shows the EI slider…?

I have tried with various shortcodes as indicated by you [revslider id=”homeslider”] and by the plugin [rev_slider homeslider]. I even tried variations, but nothing helps.

Please advise.

Go to the page you have set for the homepage edit that page and under the wordpress content editor there will be an option for the page slider make sure there is no slider selected there.

Thanks for you advise.

Knowing about the pending technical issues with Revolution Slider and a few other not-yet-solved issues with this website, the client agreed to postpone launch of the website. Because within the next few days I will leave for a short vacation, I will restart working on this by end September.

Do you have any idea when the updated theme will be available for download?
