Hi, we recently updated the Hopes theme that you made which has been great at ironing out a few issues we had. I made a backup of all the files first. Now this might seem like a silly question, but I’m not software person – where can I find the files to update the child theme, as all of our changes made in the child theme in wordpress have been removed since the update (font, colors, layout, custom css etc). I looked in the hopes-child folder: wp-content > themes > hopes-child, but the data I need is not there. Thanks for your help.

    Hi hoffnung-licht,

Have you backup the theme options using Export Backup Options.

So you can export the theme options from the back up files. After that activate the updated theme and import the theme options then only font, colors, layout, custom css etc will shows. other wise once again you need to set up all .
