I am developing site on http://badcatdev.com/dataagility/, using Hostmev2 theme. On the front page, I want to display latest tweet frrom https://twitter.com/dagintl. I am using the following shortcode on two places:

    [twitter username=”dagintl” limit=”1″ color=”light”]

Within Twitter, I created an App and added all the info (tokens, etc) into Hostmev2 theme settings. I don’t think I missed anything, but am still getting this message.

I can provide wp-admin access if required.

Go to your wordpress admin > Hostmev2 Options panel and in twitter enter your API keys then it will work.

Keys were correct, but I changed permission setting to read and write and that made it work… thank you.

What if my Hostmev2 doesn’t have a twitter link in Hostmev2 options? Please clarify where I am adding the authentication information.

You need to use the Third party plugins from the plugins repositories. As it was removed on the themeforest recommendations.

You should probably remove it from your widgets list then if it is no longer supported. It came in with the data import I suppose.
