Theme colors not changing

Just installed this theme and i love it. Everything works except the text in the flex slider does not match the theme color and is the standard yellow. Also buttons stay yellow. Does this suppose to change with the theme color or is it related to any other setting? (although i have tried changing every style)

You can change the flex slider text color in flex-slider.css file on line #153 and the contact form button color in style.css on line #301.
