Hi,

I have installed the testimonials script and added all the necessary code but the testimonials are not displaying on my website.

Also, I could do with some stuff removed from the addnew.php file. I am looking to remove the image upload and title of the company. I did comment out the statements but it still returned an error. Can you tell me what lines I need to comment out for the validation.

You can add your FTP Logins here with URL but make sure you set the post reply as private so that only admin can view login credentials and make sure you take a backup of the files.

I see you have some caching enabled on your side. kindly please remove the caching and let me know so that I can test the issue.

Can you just remove the caching – I have a backup of the files. I cannot currently access FTP to update cache and will be unable to for a few days. Ideally, I need the issue resolved by Thursday morning.

I’m asking you that do you have anything cache enabled or so on your server as I see the script is working fine but it’s not calling in your reviews.php

We have tested it and it’s not working in your case. Not sure whats wrong with your server settings or so.

HI Sorry for the delay in responding. I have the testimonials working now… how can I remove stuff from the form where people submit a testimonial? I literally want the name & comment box and the rest to be hidden. I am assuming its on the addnew page…. if you can tell me what I need to comment out that would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry for the delay in response. We were busy with the Ramadan Festival so was not responding for a week. We are back to the desk now and regarding your question, I think there is no option currently for the disabling of fields from the submission form. But we will consider that in the coming updates sooner.

OK, hope you had a good festival. Belated Happy Eid.

I understand this may be a future update but is there anyway you can show me how to comment out sections on the current addnew.php to just the client name and testimonial? Everytime I try to do it the form does not save the testimonial

yes, it might be due to a mismatch in the string that you are passing i.e. while inserting fields into database table you need to pass a date in the exact date format try this one for the date field.
$proj_date = date("Y-m-d");

And comment out the input fields and its validation

If you wait for a few days we will consider updating the script and you can use with admin settings where you can disable the fields for the forms as well. If you are in rush then we can do it custom for you in few $$$

In your reviews.php line#143 you have included testimonials/randomreview.phpwhich is limited to the one testimonial post.

If you change it to testimonials/testimonials.php you can see all your testimonials

You can enable the pagination option from the admin General Settings Tab and limit your posts in the pagination limit option
