I would like to use the recipe submit section to get someone to update my recipe list. However, there are some options that are compulsory using that section that I would like to turn off. Is this possible?

Or can you suggest another way that I could get my assistant to upload the recipes without giving her access to my backend WordPress dashboard?

You can set your assistance role as Editor so that she can easily change or modify the recipes.

    Thank you for that.

I have tried to create a login page so that she can log in as an editor but for some reason the log in script is not appearing this is the page http://caribbeanlowcarb.com/rcp-login/

I used the [rcp-login] shortcode but cannot see the log in details. Please advise.

If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as a private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.
Note: Before providing the wp-login to any support staff, kindly please make sure you take a backup of everything including WordPress content, theme options, widgets etc.

It might be a problem with other plugins conflict. Please check by deactivating each plugin.
