Dear Aivah,
For the Storeup theme, how do you create a custom 404 error page?
This is not addressed in the documentation.
The current 404 error page is very basic, here is an example:

Thank you
Hi @balus_design,
For creating custom 404 error page you need to install storeup child theme make a clone copy of a 404.php file from the storeup parent theme into child theme then you can customize the 404.php file according to your needs. Let me know if there anything else I can assist you with.
Regards,
Wajid
Wajid,
I looked in Appearance/Editor at “Storeup Child”.
In the Theme Files, I do not see any page called 404.php.
Storeup Child only has:
– Stylesheet (style.css)
– Theme Function (functions.php)
– storeup-niche (index.php)
Please provide more instructions about where to find this file so I can customize it. Searching on all the above pages for “404” gives no results.
Thank you,
Justin
