Tagged: Soundcloud Streaming in footer

Hi,
We’d like to have tracks from the following SoundCloud account playing in the footer.
Under Music Play > Plaer options there is an option to add a ‘Type the Streaming IP/Domain to play Radio Player.’
Is that what we’d need to use & what would be the ‘Streaming IP/Domain’?
We tried https://soundcloud.com/chris-makin-6 but it didn’t work.
Feedback appreciated.
Hi,
If you need Streaming IP, you need to register in soundcloud. Otherwise, for testing purpose, you can take the streaming id from embed wordpress code(from here https://soundcloud.com/chris-makin-6) for each song.
Look at this screnshot for embed wordpress code.
Hi,
Thanks for that. I added the following code into the ‘Radio Streaming IP’ box but it doesn’t seem to work. The player is in the footer but it doesn’t seem to be linking to the track.
[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/193665356″ params=”auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true” width=”100%” height=”450″ iframe=”true” /]

You are using the full shortcode in place of the mp3 URL for the radio streaming. Kindly please read the description below the field and enter the URL to your radio streaming address which should be of only mp3 format only with IP:Port. I hope you understand now. If you are still confused please contact us via skype so that we can help you out.
In the your you need to place like http://your-streaming-domain.com:8080/;stream/1 something like this URL with IP:port then it will work.
