Any way to disable the scroll navigation on the slider? I would like to be able to scroll the page not the slider when the mouse is on the slider as upon page load most user will have their mouse center on the screen (ie. the slider).

Yes for that you can open musicplay/sliders/flex-slider.php and find the code shown below and make the value as false.
