I am having some issues with the home page slider. I have contacted you about this before.
This issue comes up when “Default” is selected for “Link for Slide Item”. When Default is selected, the slide doesn’t show up.
Normally this isn’t really an issue because you can select “Link Manually” and put a # in the box that appears. But as of yesterday, when I go to change what is in that box, upon clicking update, it goes back to Default.
Is there some way to make it so that slides that have “Default” selected will show up in the slide roll? I believe that would solve the problem entirely.

P.S. One more issue is that the slider will not work in later versions of WordPress. If that issue could be addressed as well, it would certainly be helpful.
EDIT: I see that this can be fixed with a theme update, however, the files I am using have been heavily customized. Is there a way to check what has been updated so I can go and make the fixes manually?
I have checked and its working fine at my end with the issues you mentioned. Can you email me the WP Logins and URL so that i can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that the login credentials are seen by admin only.
Is there some way you can tell me what files have been updated to make the slider work again? I have tested using the updated version of the theme and have noticed that the blog shortcode no longer works in the updated version.
We use the blog shortcode functionality a lot on this site and can not have that capability go away.
Thank you for any help you can give,
