The first time I load the site it runs fine as I click through the pages. But after the forth or fifth page it starts to run slow and takes ages to load the page. I check with the hosting company and looks closely at the load on the server to check that its not a server issue. I see a few other customers with the same problem and you advised them to install a cache plugin. Seems to have speeded up the site but not solved the problem. Ist this a known issue?
Nope its not a known issue but it happens if you have the bigger audio file sizes or so. If you can provide the URL then we can take a closer look at whats happening.
The issue is being caused by the Radio Player which sits at the bottom of each page. When I disabled the player – the site responds normally. I have installed a third party player instead as a work around.
I have added your radio player URL in my live demo. http://www.aivahthemes.com/musicplay/ and I see the site runs smoothly. I think it is one of your plugin which conflicts or making slow.
I want to you to check that it works with the theme it’s not a theme issue as far as I know. But still not sure why it is not loading at your end. I use currently 5.6+ but earlier it was 5.4+
I think that’s an impact.
We have not yet tested the WordPress in PHP7.1 and the theme also. We will consider testing with that environment and see if its compatible or so and will update you on this soon.
