Are there shortcodes for listing all recipes with options to sort?
Is there a shortcode for displaying a single page recipe inside of a blog article or more specifically I want to display the recipe using my theme template that allows me to put the widgets on the sidebar.
Yes, we do have the recipes shortcode please follow the documentation. Sorry, there is no shortcode to display recipe single on any other page but we do have the custom recipe single page. We do have the recipe widget you can check that in the widget area.
Single recipe shortcode option will be added soon. Yes you can display all the recipes with options to sort using shortcode.
[rcp-recent-recipes]
Below are the attributes available with the shortcode.
'limit' => 3,
'columns' => 4,
'orderby' => 'date',
'order' => 'DESC',
'loadmore' => 'infinite',
'hide_cooktime' => 'no',
'hide_difflevel' => 'no',
'hide_yields' => 'no',
'hide_ratings' => 'no',
'hide_author' => 'no',
'display_style' => 'style1',
Wajid,
The widgets don’t do me any good if I can’t display them on a single recipe page. I want to add other things to the post and use my theme’s templates (so I can assign sidebars and footers and other elements) and in that post I want the actual recipe displayed.
If I understand correctly the only way I can display a recipe is using your template, which only displays the recipe itself. As nice as that template is it does not allow me to add navigation, related recipes, sidebar advertising, etc.
If I can’t embed this recipe display into a wrapper that allows me to have more control over the display it won’t work for me.
Right now we don’t have shortcodes for the single recipes to embed the only thing we have the single recipe page that was created by default in the plugin. But we do intend to add this in future updates.
