For some reason, my revolution slider does not display more than 4 sliders at one time. If I activate 5 slides and designate them to the main category, it will choose 4 random ones to display and leave out the 5th. How can I change this?

You are using flex slider. Make the changes as shown in the given attachment and make sure you have 5 posts in slider posttypes along with featured images.
