How do I stop the page title showing, I have disabled breadcrumbs but the page title still shows just above the page content .

Its not breadcrumb you need to disable subheader not the breadcrumb.

You can use Subheader Options for disable page title showing.

I’ve tried setting the subhead to disabled, and using the custom setting to change the blog page subhead from “blog” to News and Articles” but it does not change with either setting adjustment.

also when I adjust the setting to add a custom setting the page does not act normally. when I type in my own type and hit preview it brings me to a blank page with “home” as the subhead…

@rhazelrigg: Kindly please update your theme to latest version and see. It will work.

Hostmev2 – v4.3.0 – Updated – 28th July 2016 – is available for download. Make sure you take a backup of the old version before updating to the latest version of the theme. Please do check the theme ChangeLog.txt file provided in the full package downloaded from themeforest/codecanyon.

Sorry to say this, your support time is expired. You need to repurchase the license in order to extend the support for the theme.
