I’m having to click twice on mobile in order to open links from images (albums page). How can I disable this completely so that when I click on a CD thumbnail, it opens the link to the new page without having to hover and click the headphones icon in the center?

Basically trying to get rid of this: .hover_type a.hoveraudio
I’ve also come up with a few more questions/observations, detailed below:
1) I’d like to remove the hover effect with clickable icons, especially on the discography page. It’s an extra step, and the user has to click on the icon to open the new page. The entire album artwork should be the link. Mobile users have to click twice to open a new page.
2) Discography albums are not displaying in the correct order if they are older than 2001. (They appear at the top instead of at the bottom.)
3) “Recent Projects” on the home page do not actually show the most recent projects when using this shortcode: [album columns=”4″ limit=”4″ pagination=”false”]. Nothing I add can change this initial order.
4) The ability to show static testimonials would be great. Or at the very least navigation arrows. Having a randomize feature would be nice, that way the page doesn’t always show the first one first with every page reload.
5) When on mobile/responsive, I tweaked the code for the recent projects on the home page so that they would show two to a line, but there is still padding on the right that I can’t seem to get rid of. When on mobile, there is more margin to the right of the albums than to the left.
6) More sizing choices for the footer columns would be great to add. For example [2/3, 1/3]. I had to create this manually and it would be a giant mess to edit later if we need to.
7) I noticed that the album shortcode conflicts with the NextGEN gallery plugin.
8) Also, while using a child theme, I had to edit the functions.php file and add code to allow Font-Awesome to work.
9) What would be the easiest way to remove the Events, DJMix, Video, Gallery, etc links from the sidebar. My client will not be using these, and I don’t want to confuse him with extra options.
Thank you very much! So far I really like this theme!
1) We will consider this to have an option for using icons or not in both desktop and mobile devices. But you can’t make it different like on desktop hover icons and on mobile no icons on hover.
2) There is a field to check under Music Settings in Theme Options where you can switch to have in the order you wish to display.
3) There is an order option which can be used in the shortcode. If it isn’t there we will consider in the coming update of the theme where you can have the display order of your choice.
4) Static testimonial list Shortcode is there in the Shortcode Generator.
5) Sorry that’s not possible to make it accurate for all the devices and if its for 1 device we can make it no difference in 1 pixel.
6) Yes its there in the theme options panel.
7) Why you wish to use the next gen gallery? And yes we are using AWS plugin which will give you a conflict duwe to the nature of the site which is ajaxified for that you need to add a callback function in ajaxify.js file located in the js folder http://www.youngtechleads.com/how-to-make-compatible-nextgen-gallery-with-aws-plugin/
8) This will be fixed in the next update.
9) Its an easy to remove you need to edit the functions.php file and musicband/index.php file as well and yes if you wish to remove few options from theme options panel then we can make some changes and customize it for you.
If you have any more questions please feel free to ask us on Skype : support-aws

Thank you for answering each of my questions, however my biggest concerns go deeper than clicking a few boxes in the theme options panel.
Regarding my first question, is there a simple way to completely disable the hover icons on both desktop and mobile? I’d like them gone completely, from every browser/device.
Secondly, I have chosen to display the albums by descending release date, however albums that have a release date prior to 2001 show up at the top, before brand new albums released in 2015. There has to be some sort of under-the-hood date conflict that I can’t find. I’ll be happy to give you admin credentials so you can see it for yourself.
And for question 3, the short code generator does not work for me in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, so it might as well not be there. I’d like that to show in the order of descending release date as well, instead of by post ID number. Could you provide me with an example of what that short code would look like?
In response to your reply to my question #6, 2/3 and 1/3 is not an option.
And regarding the photo albums, my client wants to use his Flickr account instead of self hosting, and NextGEN has been the most consistent experience for me.
Thank you!
