Its a drop cap style we set. If you wish to remove the style you need to add the following code to your custom CSS section

.singlepost .entry-content > p:first-of-type:first-letter {
    float: none;
    margin: auto;
    font-size: inherit;
    font-weight: normal;
    line-height: normal;
    color: inherit;
}
