I have the theme installed and using the Radio Player with an IceCast stream (http://icy3.abacast.com/resultsradio-kcezfmmp3-48) that I’ve verified (VLC Player) the title/artist meta data is in the stream, but doesn’t show up in the footer player bar.
“remove authentication”, is that within the Theme Options or are you saying on the IceCast server? If you’re saying on the IceCast server, we do not have access to that.
There is no title or artist name in the url which you have provided http://184.154.202.243:8028/ to fetch the details. Kindly tell us the artist name based on that we can fetch the details.
Fem… this doesn’t make sense. The stream URL is “http://icy3.abacast.com/resultsradio-kcezfmmp3-48”, its leady on Port 80. BTW, I did add :80 to the URL, but that doesn’t work either.
@tpinkus: I have tested with the following url and its asking for authentication. So I can’t inspect the issue.
@zafim: Fixed your issue. Edited file: radio-player.php. Kindly take a backup of the modified files before updating the theme because the changes what we have made will be lost.
@Pam Reddy the sample stream at http://104.166.70.226:8528/;stream/1 isn’t showing title/artist either. Also, can you please post the revised radio-player.php file so radio player name and subtitle appear.
You can’t hear/see the stream I provided because its locked to USA only.
You have to change this Content Type: audio/aacp to Content Type: audio/mpeg. Then only it will fetch the titles. If you use skype then kindly contact us via skype. By sharing our screen or yours via team viewer we’ll help you out.
Go to your icecast server and make sure the audio type is audio/mpeg or mp3 or mp4 to make it working. If you still face an issue then I can’t help you without inspecting the site and ur URL doesn’t works with our location or if you can provide any other Icecast URL then we can test it and inspect it. We had a icecast URL earlier but now its streaming server is offline.
