Problem with the translation of cook-pro into Spanish

In the plugin there seems to be no .pot file. So I have downloaded the file wp-content/plugins/cook-pro/language/en-US.po and I have edited with Poedit, I have saved the translations into Spanish as es-ES.po and .mo and uploaded the files to the same directory and it does not work.

I have tried saving the files as well as cook-pro-es_ES.po and .mo and neither in the same directory wp-content/plugins/cook-pro/language/.

The language of the site is Spanish and I do not plan to install any translation software to other languages.

In the Change Log of the plugin mention the following:

v4.3.1 – 2018-06-19
————————————————– ————–
### Added
– en_ES.mo
– en_ES.po

I have not found these files

Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong? You can tell me the correct way to manage the plugin translations on my site.

Instead of the US, I have written ES in the changelog. but in the back-end I see the files en_US which is a default string translator .po file which you can use and convert that into your es strings.

The names of the translation files are correct as es_ES.po and es_ES.mo and they have to be entered in the directory wp-content /plugins/cook-pro/language/???

It is essential to use a translation plugin like Polylang so that the translations work???

Yes, you have to use the plugin for translating those strings to your preferred language and convert your WordPress language to the lang you wish to use which is there in the WordPress admin settings tab.

Neither do we get it to work with language management plugins.

We have installed Polylang and the extension to translate plugins Theme and plugin translation for Polylang. Translated strings are not shown in Spanish, always in English.

We have also tried with Loco Translate and we have not achieved it either.

Any more suggestions???
