Hi there,

I’ve got hours set up to only display a message depending on whether the venue is open or not. What I’m looking to achieve is a “We are open!” when they are open and a “We are closed!” when not.

Currently it’s just displaying the closed message regardless of what setting it’s on.

Attached are my setting for the hours as well as my main settings for BHP.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

The feature what you are looking for is not there currently. We’ll consider adding this in the future updates.

Okay, as far as I understand you can display opening hours for single/current day along with a opened or closed message depending on whether you’re currently opened or closed – correct?

What I’d like to do is not show the time (by hiding it using CSS, which I’ve done) and only display the corresponding opened or closed message. I believe with the settings I have (in the screenshots above) set up this should be working. However it doesn’t seem to be taking into account the opening hours I’ve set up.

If you wish to display only Today Open text and hide all the days then you can select Single Day option from the shortcode settings in business hours and then in custom css section add the following css

.today-result span.hours { display: none; }

Hi Fem,

Please read my original comments. The issue I’m having is that the hours currently are constantly showing the Closed text – regardless of whether set to open or not.

Did you set proper timezone? Try using UTC+00.00 from settings and see if that works. And I see you are using late night hours so you need to set it late night hours from the settings and select 1am as you setting the day from the off time.

If the time crosses 11:59 the day changes after 00.00 and it counts as a new day and the time will not work as it has to be.

Hi Fem,

Thanks for your reply – however even with the settings you suggested I’m still having issues.

I reverted back to the basic settings (attached) but even thought it’s currently only 10pm I am still seeing the Closed Text.

Any further suggestions?

If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.
