I see everything seems to be working but I found a problem is that you copied the code and pasted where you want. Kindly generate the shortcode instead of copying from this page to other page. Because the events shortcode you copied contains some categories which are not there in the post types.

Kindly create new categories and generate the shortcodes and do things accordingly.
