Hi Support,

My WordPress was hacked and was completely not running.

I had to delete everything and start all over again.

But i was unable to restore any of my previous settings and data.

I really need help from support to help me restore my previous settings and data.

I did make a complete backup of the file directories and i still have a copy of the original database.

On the new fresh installation of wordpress i created a new database and installed the MusicPlay theme and installed the child theme.

On this fresh installation i did not try to restore or do anything to the data. i did do this on a previous session and it did not work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.

Hi there,
We checked your backup and I see you have taken a full backup to your website not the wordpress backup and options backup. You need to keep first setup your wordpress in your localhost and then restore your site locally and once you setup locally then restore your site on the live server as you do in local PC.

To setup your site locally you need to have/install Wamp/Xamp server and install wordpress. You can find Wampserver on Google or click on this link http://www.wampserver.com/

Regarding the logins we asked we checked everything seems to be working fine and running smoothly and I think the restore should work perfectly as there seems to be no errors as you are using the latest version of the theme currently.

To prevent from getting hacked in future we recommend to use less plugins and make use of dedicated hosting and proper plugins to protect your WordPress like Bullet Proof Security Plugin for the WordPress.
