Hi,

I have recently uploaded some mp3s on my site but I can’t play them through the homepage music player. It only seems to link to the album page I created, where I can properly listen to.

If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.
Note: Before providing the wp-logins to any support staff, kindly please make sure you take a backup of everything including wordpress content, theme options, widgets etc.

You have to upload some audios in album posttype and use that album id in theme options/player options/Album ID. Have a look at the screenshot.

Find for this code in style.css file on line around 509

#featured_slider {
    position: relative;
    padding: 0;
    background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);

and do comment the background-color,

    position: relative;
    padding: 0;
