The theme has some wonderful mouseover effects using the Iconbox Shortcode, but I am not able to make it clickable so that a user can click on it and visit another page. If you could give me a bit of direction that would be much appreciated. I attempted iconlink=” and link=” but neither seemed to work.

While generating the iconbox shortcode, provide link and link target. Have a look at this code for reference,

If you still don’t get after doing this, then if you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.

Kindly update your theme to latest version. Icon Box Shortcode with Link and Link Target options was added in latest version.Update the theme and generate the iconbox shortcode in shortcode generator.
Anona – v3.3.0 – Updated on 15th April 2016 – is available for download. Make sure you take a backup of the old version before updating to the latest version of the theme. Please do check the theme ChangeLog.txt file provided in the full package downloaded from themeforest/codecanyon.

In order to update to the latest theme is there any way to do this directly from the WordPress dashboard? Or do I have to download the latest version of the theme from ThemeForest and then upload it directly?

You have to download it from theme forest.
