    Hello,

I recently created a site on a hosting service called MediaTemple. The JPlayer cant get the song info from my shoutcast stream. I know it is working because my development server on Amazon works perfectly, but it doesnt work on this Media Temple Server.

When looking a Dev Tools in Chrome, no errors are reported and I can’t see anything wrong with the site other than this. There shouldn’t be a difference between the two servers, they both run the same version of wordpress so I’m not sure what the problem is.

The first screenshot shows the working version on AWS
The second screenshot shows the not working version on Media Temple

    Any ideas?

EDIT: I have learned something however, it appears that the stream.php theme file always returns null. This seems to be the problem and might require some modification to work in the Media Temple environment, however I do not know how to modify this file to make it work.

By logging into your website we have seen that it’s not our theme problem and it’s regarding your temple media server issue. Kindly see that “allow_url_fopen” this should be “On” in your php.ini file, have a look at the screenshot for this. Contact your hosting provider about this issue.

    Hello,

Thank you for your response. I can confirm that this option is already set. It looks the same as the screenshot you sent. I’ve attached a screenshot of my phpinfo for reference.

Not sure about the MediaTemple server as we are also on media temple. I will have a closer look into it tomorrow.
