Hi-

We just started using Hopes for our church (http://crossoflifelutheran.org/) and have a couple of questions:

1) Even though our site title is set in WordPress, it’s not showing in any of our pages. It only shows the title of the page.

2) Even though our WordPress is set to Eastern Time, the business hours widget is still using GMT.

3) We are trying to use the sticky bar, but all that shows up is a yellow square. Is the whole bar supposed to show?

1. For the site title: Go to Theme Options-> Custom Logo-> Choose Title.
2. Go to Business Hours Plugin-> Settings-> And choose the Timezone.
3. Yes, for this if you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.

1. Fixed the issue.
2. We have added timezone option in to your plugin.
3. Sticky Bar issue is fixed.

Thank you very much for your attention to these issues.

Two follow-up questions:
1) I noticed that you had to edit PHP through a plugin to fix issues 1 and 3. Will those fixes become permanent in the next version? I’m worried about sustainability.
2) Is there a way to keep included plugins more up to date on our own, such as the Business Hours plugin? This is the first time I have worked with plugins included in a theme as opposed to from the WordPress repo.

No need to worry about loosing the content in the coming versions. We had fixed those issues in our theme too. And also no need to update the plugins by your own, we’ll provide the plugins along with the theme.

Hi there- back again.

The issues seemed fixed, but now the Business Hours plugin is showing a completely different day.

It is currently Sunday evening around 8:30 EST, but the plugin says that it’s daytime on Monday (screenshot attached- time in upper system bar).

Login credentials previously provided are still valid.

Sorry- I should’ve been more specific. The time difference seems to be less than last time, as it shows the next day but closed (sometime between 4 and 13 hours ahead), where as before it showed the next day and open (at least 13 hours ahead).

Working again. I’m going to keep an eye on it before I mark resolved again.

Did you remove the timezone option? Does it use WordPress settings now?
