Hi,
When my post format is set to Audio and I have an Audio Poster Image url added in the MusicPlay Post Options:
When the site is viewed on any mobile device other than an Ipad, there is some odd scaling/resizing that causes the images to become distorted (not scaling to the same aspect ratio of the original image). Images that appear inside a post are not affected, only the poster image assigned to the media player.
I’m guessing this is a jplayer issue? Are there any settings I can change to fix this scaling problem? If it’s not something that can be changed, are there any specific pixel dimensions I should use for all of my poster images to avoid this problem?
Here is my site where you can see the differences between the desktop and mobile scaling.
Thanks!
I’m having the same issue. Can an admin contact me via email or something? I’ll give you my wp-admin login to take a look. There are a couple bugs going on with the site.
I have a couple of follow up questions…
As the logo size issue is still open, I’m opting to not use poster images.
That being the case:
a)Can I change the size of the player?
b) If I continue to not use a poster image, can I change the location of the media player. For example, have it appear within the blog post (below the title, rather than above the title).
c) Also, are there any options to add a track title, total length and/or current time to the player? (I believe the latter two are already standard options for the built in wordpress audio shortcode [audio src="song.mp3] )
Ultimately, I’m looking for something with similar features to the plugin called mb.miniAudioPlayer (I can’t use this as it “breaks” (aka overwrites) the Album sidebar widget in MusicPlay)
mb.miniAudioPlayer – an HTML5 audio player for your mp3 files
Another similar example of what I’m looking for is the plugin called Audio Player https://wordpress.org/plugins/audio-player/
I’d much rather use your code as that would help prevent any possible conflicts with multiple players on my site. (Currently I use the Musicplay audio player at the bottom of my page, the album widget in the sidebar, and almost every blog post is an “Audio” post with a new mp3.
Thanks in advance!

Kindly please use internal uploaded images from your WordPress media library as external images will not work for posters.
