Hi, just wanted to know where can I edit the appointment form in homepage fields? I want to translate them, as well as adding a new field called “comments”. I cant find where in the backend to edit that?

    Thanks

For the translation, we have provided labels in theme options. Go to your theme options/Localization/Appointment Form Labels and enter your text there. And for adding new fields, it becomes a custom work. If you are okay for that, then we will add it for you.

Thanks Pam, managed to translate the fields showing at home http://dreduardoespadas.com/

    More questions:

How do I add extra field just for comments? I see in the localization a filed called “description”… I just want to add a text box for the user to type in his/her comments.

Where do I configure the appointment form? Right now I tried to do a test appointment and after inputing my data and clicking submit, it just redirected me to http://dreduardoespadas.com/about/

Where in the backend do I configure that form? email for the appointments to be sent, extra fields, etc.

    Thanks

In the home page, you are having an appointment callout shortcode, wherein after inputting the fields it redirects you to appointment form. For that you need to select Appointment Page in your theme options. Follow this path, Theme Options/Medical Settings/Appointment Page(Choose Appointments from the dropdown). That’s it.

Hmm.. I just need a simple text box for “Comments”. Where patients can input what do they want to talk about in the appointment. If this is a custom work, what would it cost etc?

In Appointment Form, there is an option called “Description”. If you want to use the description field as comments, then you can change the text in Theme Options/Localization/Description Text. Or else if you want to use a separate field then you can contact us via skype. Our Skype ID: support-aws.

I have seen that you have translated the description text as “Comentarios”. So the description text is translated and it is showing perfectly.
Regarding comments section, it’s not that easy for you to add an extra field for the appointment callout shortcode. There are so many files to be edited and it becomes extra customized work.
