Please kindly advise a) what are the video formats you support? mp4? mov? and b) what is the correct syntax to add the video in the video section of the recipe, if the video is uploaded into the media base of the wp installation (so is no youtube or other external video channel).

1) You can use the mp4 format or embed code.
2) Add video URL for example: http://www.aivahthemes.com/wp/cookpro/wp-content/uploads/sites/19/2018/02/cheesy-chicken.jpg

I added this url e.g. into the video section, but the video does not show in the front end:
“https://ballonbroetchen.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Herzhaft-verpackte-Bolognese.mp4”

If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as a private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.
Note: Before providing the wp-login to any support staff, kindly please make sure you take a backup of everything including WordPress content, theme options, widgets etc.

You have to add URL directly inside the video textarea no need to add a shortcode like [video src=" "] and make sure on the right sidebar at the top option Recipe Gallery is not selected because you can’t use both the option simultaneously so, select video or else Recipe Gallery at a time.

If you still encounter the same error then can you please check your credentials so, we’ll take a closer look at it.
