How to get food carousel to work???

… So I’m trying to get the food carousel to show up on the front page like you have in your demo. I added 4 food items with a category or featured food. When I try to insert the shortcode I select the only category I have then I put the shortcode in the text window on WP. Load it and BAM nothing shows up. Seriously? What is going on with this theme. I cannot get anything to work with this theme.

Please explain how to get the food carousel to work. No I can’t give you my login info because I have this WP on my localhost. Just tell me HOW TO DO IT. Your documentation doesn’t list any of your fancy features… so do me and the rest of the people that bought this theme how to actually use this.

The shortcode which i use fro food carousel.Where Cats is for food menu category.
