How to display genre & the post_type with the function

    When i click on a page ,i want to display “the genre of my album” and the “post_type of my page” (event, album, artist…)…. Example with the title, i have the function get_the_title();. I don’t found the good syntaxe for “genre and post_type)…
    Can u help me please?

    You can use with your WordPress menu but no functions.

    but automatically, this is not possible ?u can have the ID with get_the_ID() but after that. i want to stock in a variable the ‘genre’ or the post_type.. How can i do ? please
