    Site: http://192.185.4.48/~schera/

If you scroll with a trackpad (on mac laptops) while the cursor is over the slider, it rotates through the slider.

This is a very confusing user experience and we would like to disable.

    How can we disable this?

    Thanks! 🙂
    Matt

In theme option panel go to slider tab in that scroll down to Direction Nav and set it to false then will perfect for you.

    Hi Mawk,

I’d like to keep the direction nav turned on.

I saw your email: “In flex-slider.php file in sliders folder i just replaced to mousewheel: false.”

I edited flex-slider.php and that worked well.

    Thanks!
    Matt

I tried to disable it too with the ‘false” command but it still rotates when I use the mouse to scroll down the page. It did not fix the issue.

    Hi djjoshk,

It should work as it worked for me. Feel free to copy and paste your text in here and I’ll see if it looks like mine.

    Hi djjoshk,

You need to edit one of the PHP files, and I recommend you save the changes you make, as they will be overwritten when you update the theme. (you can track changes in a text/word doc for simplicity).

You’ll need to edit flex-slider.php. Here is a screenshot of the changes:

Thanks for the kind words 🙂 My name is Matt and Steven is a client. I build WP sites, so I have some practice 😉

    Thanks,
    Matt
