I’m attempting customize the sidebar. I want to add widgets below the sub-navigation menu. I attempted to create a new custom sidebar, however, the format of the custom menu is just text and doesn’t look as nice as the automatically generated sub-navigation menu. Is there a way to add widgets under the sub-navigation? I attempted to add widgets to the Main Sidebar, but nothing happened.

    Thanks!

That is sub navigation template. I would recommend to create your custom menu then assign that custom menu from the widgets and then create a custom sidebar for that specific pages you wish to use as the sub nav page template will only have an access to use the sub navigation only no other widgets adding facility is there.

I did create a custom menu and a custom sidebar. However, the custom menu is just a list of text and not formatted nicely like the menus on the sub-navigation template. I would like the custom menu to look as good as the other menus on the website. I’ve attached a screenshot so you can see what I mean.

Currently it’s not there. We’ll consider adding a sidebar with custom menu in the next future updates.
