Is there any shortcode or widget to still have blog posts on the homepage even though it’s static, and have it with a title?

The carousel blog shortcode is slightly off alignment, and i’d want it to be like normal, (listed) anyway.

The [display-posts] shortcode doesn’t seem to be working for me.

I have fixed the homepage issue its working. But first -of all please update your wordpress to latest version which is 3.7.1 as you are using 3.4.1 which is outdated. Once you keep things up to date it will not give you errors and loop holes for hackers.

Thank you so much for doing that Maqk, I greatly appreciate it! I am enjoying the service, but my question was though, I wanted to have it so that my latest blog post can be visible on the home page, do you know how I can do that. (Just 1 post) – I will have the short codes in a sidebar

You can use the homepage with a sidebar layout and in the sidebar you can use Recent Post Widget.

Yes you can set it from WordPress Admin > Setting > Reading and set the post limit to 1. If you still didn’t get that please find me on Skype. Click on Skype Button if I’m online you can see the status here in the forum top-right in sidebar.
