We have removed the comments system on the artists and albums page. If you wish to have it you can get that in the coming update soon. We will add a feature in theme options panel to enable or disable comments in the artists and other post types too.
Regarding setting the same homepage as you see on demo site you need to look into the video tutorials for doing that. Please see the documentation for the video tutorials link
