Hello, please advice. When using normal post content, so it will appear before the recipe as a classic post and in the recipe as Description. How do I do not show up before the recipe?
With your colleague, Pam Reddy, I wrote about it in the ticket: “Recipe gallery and category list.” And wrote to me that: “The description comes from the content editor. We have disabled the content editor in the previous version. Now I have enabled it. You can edit the description from the content editor section in post.”
The demo recipe was: “Use this as normal post content. The recipe will automatically be included at the end of the post, or wherever you place the shortcode: [recipe]”
the top, but it is possible to remove it only on recipe Cook pro posts?
It is possible?
Yes its possible to remove only in the recipe posts but you need to edit that in the plugin files. So for future references I will mention here in forum so that you can update it whenever you wish make a change.
Open the file *wp-content/plugins/cook-pro/post-type/recipe.php*
Find the code
'supports' => array( 'title', 'author', 'thumbnail', 'page-attributes', 'comments', 'editor' ),
Remove the ‘editor’ from it including single quotes.
If you can provide us WP Logins to your website with URL then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp-logins.
Note: Before providing the wp-logins to any support staff, kindly please make sure you take a backup of everything including wordpress content, theme options, widgets etc.
And could it be done so that Cook Pro uses a different Post Format, for example Audio (which we do not use), and remove Post Content from this format so it would only show it under the image?
One more question. It is possible to add the option to change the post format in recipe editor http://prntscr.com/gdwlq5 ?
Open recipe.php file located in dir as here the cook-pro/post-type/recipe.php and find the supports array key and on the right side, you will find the values which support that post type posts. add the post-formats also for that in last after editor. Check How I did below.
array( 'title', 'author', 'thumbnail', 'page-attributes', 'comments', 'editor','post-formats'),
Thank you, it´s great.
