Just purchased the theme and am having difficulty getting a google map to show up. The shortcode should be right when I compared it to shortcode in this post http://support.aivahthemes.com/forums/topic/google-maps-shortcode/. It leaves a gap to allow for the map, just no map shows up. The address I’ve added works (just googled it now) so don’t think that’s the issue.

Also have other websites on the same server using google maps without a problem but using different themes.

Any help appreciated.

If you can provide with WP Logins then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp logins.

Thanks for the reply. Actually worked out what the problem was. Our site is using SSL and the map is considered unsecured therefore it doesn’t show up. If I allow both secure and unsecured content it displays, but this sets up an exception and basically marks the site unsecured (Google Chrome shows the HTTPS part as red with a strike through rather than clear and green).

Hope there is a way around this as I would love to be able to use the map feature. If not I can just run the theme without it and put a screen capture of the map there instead.
