    Whenever I try to link the address to google maps – http://prntscr.com/kzlt9s it saves but then the code is removed.

    We checked from our side, everything is working fine. Do you want to link the given footer address to Google map? If yes then you need to add an API key. And is the code in the footer widget being removed? Can you please elaborate your question so we can assist you.

    It’s a text area field you don’t need to write the anchor tags over there. If the text is hiding then we can take a closer look at it.
