I’ve uploaded the sample data for the homepage food carousel. It works with the sample data, but does NOT work when I update the shortcode to a different category on the selected homepage.

Is there another area I should be updating the category for the food carousel?

To test the issue, I changed some preexisting sample data to have the category “featured” and updated the homepage food carousel shortcode to “featured.” Refreshed the homepage view and nothing shows up. I changed the food menu item categories back to “Dessert” and the food carousel once again shows up.

If you can provide with WP Logins then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp logins.

Any feedback on the category switch issue for the food carousel shortcode? The provided login credentials were verified by Skype and are the same as in the private response.

Logins are working perfect but give me the full control as administrator so we can take a closer look at it.

I see that you have manually entered the carousel category so you were getting an error. Try using the shortcode generator for creating anything. We have used the slug for the categories. and you entered the name Featured. I have seen the slug is featured-2 when i named that its working fine.

Regarding the event sorry we tried that but that was so complicated stuff going problems with existing event type users so we dropped it.
