I can not get the events to list in order. I need them to list by the most recent event to happen. I have tried ordering each post and that is not working either.

    Thank you!

You will notice that the March 15th event displays before the March 4th event.

How DID you fix this problem? I’m having the same issues where the event dates are not listing in the order of the event. Is this related to it using the post publishing date instead of the actual event date? Also, will we need to delete/unpublish the past dates?

    Hi @Teri,

Currently we are integrating the The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro plugin into all of our theme and we will be soon updating theme with this plugin and you will be get notify with updates. Old events post type giving us lots of error so we planed to integrate with The Events Calender Plugin.

It was fixed, but when I deleted a past event and created another it does not work correctly again.

Any updates on this? I am using the latest version of the LinoFeast theme and the events are still ordered by posting date and not event date. Is there a temporary workaround we can use until the calendar plugin is implemented?

We have v2.0 and still have the same issue so no, it isn’t solved.
This is extremely annoying since using the post publish date really makes no sense when managing events and changes occur. It causes a lot of copy pasting and moving back and forth between post publish dates.
One thing that would easily solve this is to utilize the Order column in the event posts.

Do you guys have an eta on the fix? Thanks!

@kalleeh, If you can provide with WP Logins then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp logins.

I’m having this same issue. Is there a way to resolve it without having to change the post dates?
