I am having problems which I see other people have had, but all of the answers say “Topic resolved via Skype” which does not help others who are looking for solutions.
Problem 1: Play counter not working in album page, plays not recorded ( http://www.kinglizzard.com/kl/album/epick/ )
Problem 2: MP3 download link downloads file but can’t open it.
Problem 3: Body background image does not show for Internet Explorer and Chrome-fine for Firefox (Mozilla) and Safari. I have to set content area color to black, otherwise if content color left blank it shows as all white background with no image It should look like Capture-1 attached image, and not like Capture-2 image.
Problem 4: IE and Chrome show subheaders background as white. Also, how do I install child theme? I installed and it killed the whole site with a 503 forbidden error.
Problem 5: Gallery pictures, when I open the picture it’s too far down on the page and thumbnails, titles and social media buttons are blocked by music player ( http://www.kinglizzard.com/kl/photos/musical-instruments/ )
Also, in the Album admin page, external MP3, what is the Attachment ID form field for?

Problem 1: Play counter not working in album page, plays not recorded ( http://www.kinglizzard.com/kl/album/epick/ Answer: you need to enter the Attachment ID as you are using the external resources. Make sure the Id is Unique for each mp3 file.
Problem 2: MP3 download link downloads file but can’t open it.
Answer: http://www.kinglizzard.com/kl/album/the-sin-city-symphony/ downloaded Living-Karma.mp3 and working fine.
Problem 3: Body background image does not show for Internet Explorer and Chrome-
Answer: It works fine at my end. Which browsers kindly please mention its version as well
Problem 4: IE and Chrome show subheaders background as white. Also, how do I install child theme? I installed and it killed the whole site with a 503 forbidden error.
Answer: Please show the versions and screenshots. We will be releasing a new version for the child theme with the fixes so you can install after that release.
Problem 5: Gallery pictures, when I open the picture it’s too far down on the page and thumbnails, titles and social media buttons are blocked by music player ( http://www.kinglizzard.com/kl/photos/musical-instruments/ )
Answer: Please share the screenshot for me so that i can take a closer look at it. As it shows fine for me.
Also, in the Album admin page, external MP3, what is the Attachment ID form field for? See Problem 1 Answer
Problem 1 and 2: Related to external MP3. I had to switch to MP3 Player to get counter and download to work. You might want to do some testing on the external MP3 set up. Even in putting a unique ID it still didn’t count. The download worked on Living Karma because it was linked to Music Player, not external MP3.
Problem 3: I fixed by inserting: filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#B3000000,endColorstr=#B3000000);/* IE */ in place of background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);
Problem 4: Using IE 11 and Chrome version for Windows. Firefox et al at Firefox et al 2 attachments show how subheaders and subfooters should look. IE 11 and IE 11 2 attached files show white subheader and subfooter, no matter what color you put in.
Problem 5: Attached Gallery image shows bottom part of image cut off. Using 1440 X 960 and 1680 X 1050 resolution
Thanks for your help.
Downloaded and updated the theme. It just made matters worse. Menu disappeared, sociable icons stacked vertically, background solid white, caption areas turned yellow from blue, album covers stacked vertically. I reinstalled my old version, but the changes must have been made in the database, because even though I reverted back to the old main and child theme everything’s still a mess.
Looks like I’m not only back to square one looks like my site will be down for a while.
New version play button disappeared on music player.
I’m not happy, but I spent the past week fixing the mess that 3.1 caused. Your header and audio-player files were missing elements that totally jacked up everything. I was able to correct many of the style problems by changing the style sheet and the dark.css style sheet under colors. I’m including the files that I fixed. I would still like to change the white strips as seen in IE-11 1 and 2 screenshots above. Tell me what file they’re in and I’ll fix them.
