    Hi there,

I am a developer and I would like to customize ‘staff grid’ page by adding a new field to staff items. I successfully added the new field, but I would like it to be displayed in the grid. I found the shortcode (site/wp-content/plugins/labora-core/labora-shortcodes/shortcode/at-staff.php) which is being used. If I am correct, please can you let me know how I customize it in the child theme.

    Thanks,
    Sri

Sorry, the shortcode’s code is at site/wp-content/plugins/labora-core/labora-vcaddons/modules/labora-vc-staff.php. I can edit it, but I am a bit worried about future, when the ‘labora-core’ gets updated in future. As asked before, please can you let me know how I customize it inside the child theme?

Extending the plugin is not there currently but will see if we can try extending the staff shortcode via child, if it works then will consider adding in the documentation here.

Sorry it’s not possible I have asked with another developer and he said that its possible to extend using class and do alterations if you want. http://php.net/manual/it/keyword.extends.php
