Hello. I just emailed support with this question because I didn’t see this option to post a new topic — I apologize for the double post.
I just upgraded from LinoFeast 1.4 to 2.0 and followed the instructions posted here on how to update.
Everything went smoothly EXCEPT all the content in my Custom Sidebars was lost.
The Custom Sidebars still showed up on the widgets page with the correct titles, but none of them had any content — they were all blank.
The widgets that had been used in them had been moved to the “Inactive Widgets” column on the left side.
Did I do something wrong, or is this a bug in the updating process?
I have another installation to update, and would like to avoid recreating all the Custom Sidebars if possible.
Thank you!
If you can provide with WP Logins then we can take a closer look at it. Make sure you set the post as private reply so that only admin can see your wp logins.
Can you provide me full access like administration so that i can assist you.
Everything is working fine now. Let me know is there anything i can assist you with.
Regards,
Mawk
Did you change anything?
Sorry if I wasn’t clear, but everything was working when I gave you access, BUT I had to rebuild ALL the custom sidebArs after upgrading. I have another site to upgrade & do not want to have to rebuild all the custom sidebars in that when I upgrade.
Can you tell me how to avoid that happening?
You won’t lose anything in a update. Please let me know if you face any error and you can contact me via Skype I’m online now.
