I have cross checked and it is working fine. Searched for “Deborah Koutsios” in Artists and it is showing the results perfectly.
    http://www.musiquechretiennefrancophone.com/?s=Deborah%20Koutsios&iva_search_keyword=Musicplay_Custom_Search&iva_custom_search_select=artists&iva_search_input=Deborah%20Koutsios

Note: We are sorry to say this, your support time is expired. You need to repurchase the licence in order to extend the support for the theme.

Your search was not done from the Custom Search Bar in the header.
How much to extend the support?

Go to themeforest account/download section and find musicplay thumbnail where you have downloaded the theme, there you’ll find the details.
Which custom search bar you are asking? can you send me the screenshot?

Hi, sorry but you didn’t resolve the issue.
I think the problem is occuring since the last WordPress update.
If I go to the Music setting in the Musicplay config section, in Custom Search Bar Properties, Custom Search Bar is enable, but all searches return nothing.

Go to http://www.musiquechretiennefrancophone.com/album/wonder-hillsong-united/, and search for “Wonder” in the top bar… You see this in the page, so you should have at least one result…

    Thanks

@cameleweb: It is working fine at our end. And you are using 5.2.0 version which is older version. The latest version is 8.0. Kindly do update the theme to 8.0 and see.

Note: We are sorry to say this, you support has been expired. You need to repurchase the license in order to avail the support for the theme.

Ok, I’ ve just renew the support, and upgraded to V 8.0, and now, the problem is that the search is looping, the result page doesn’t display…

    Try it : http://www.musiquechretiennefrancophone.com/?s=wonder&iva_search_keyword=Musicplay_Custom_Search&iva_custom_search_select=all&iva_search_input=wonder

Once delete all your plugins one by one and see because it is working fine at our end. Might be there is some conflict with any of your other plugins.

We have cross checked by searching with slugs in your theme as well as ours. It is working fine at our end. Might be there is some issue with your php version. Can you let us know which PHP version are you using?

Sorry for the delay in response. Our support member left the company this month so it was delayed in response.

It’s very strange to see the results are not displaying on your side. Did you change any wp prefixes while installing the WordPress first time?

FTP seems to be wrong. We have cross-checked everything and seems to be working fine, but after a full research, we found that it might be a problem with the DB_CHARSET if you have customized anything while installing the WordPress.

Can you please check the FTP again and let me know. I can connect but I don’t see any folder.

Sorry but not sure why I messaged you and got the msg in spam. Anyway, It was that you are using the database collation in utf8mb4 which is causing an error in the custom search. You need to convert that into the ‘utf8’ or ‘utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci’. After that, if it still doesn’t work we will sure give you a refund.

I’ve change it from utf8mb4_unicode_ci to utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci for all the existing tables, in PhpMyAdmin, but no change.
Do I need to restart the DB, or do something else? In the dropdown menu, I dont have the utf8 option, are you sure utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci is the correct collation?

Do I need to select “Change all column collations” when I change the Collation for each table?

I think it’s better I make a refund for you it’s very hard to understand why it’s not showing. Coding is perfect and its working for all others. Maybe something related to DB or charset issue
