Concept displayed on an iPad appears with the background image in a strip along the RH side which squeezes the header but overlays the footer.

Also there is no main menu and no social icons in the top bar.

Displays ok on other mobile and handhelds that I have tried such as android smartphone, android 7″ tablet and iphone. Just the iPad has a problem

Playing around a bit more. Could the problem be related to the Revolution slider and responsive widths set there?

Yes you are using the old version which is 1.0 and since requested we have changed the header slider and made it separated those section to make it work with all the devices. The problems what you were having were there in iPad so we fixed and released a updated version.

We too have this problem, although the website is live for one of our clients.

Are you able to please let me know what files were updated so that we can do this manually, otherwise we will loose other modifications made (mainly CSS).

If you check in the package you can find the changelog.txt file which has a complete changelog for the modified files as well.
