I have added /pest-control/pest/single-pest.php to my child theme to customize the Pest Page but it is not being utilized with the child theme active. The reason I am doing this is to disable insertion of the featured image and the comments – since the overall theme settings are not disabling them.

Is there a means of customizing the single pest page?

    Thanks,
    Doug

Kindly replace the given child theme and do make changes in the single-pest.php according to your needs.

That corrected the issue with customization but appears to have broken the Post Meta Box within the editor page.
