I’m trying to change the icons to a custom icon with your iconbox shortcode.

In Iconbox shortcode only Font Awesome Icons and Pe Line Icons are supported. If you want a custom icon then upload icons in Image shortcode and add the Text below it.

You can also use elements present in the WPBakery Page Builder by clicking on the Backend Editor on the Page.
