Hi,

I was wondering how to make the caption display for audio files, for the field that is located directly above the area where the lyrics are supposed to go (in the Edit Media admin panel for each individual song). I have already put text in the lyrics text area (the one labeled ‘description’) and it displays fine and has a ‘lyrics’ link now for that part when one looks at the album page front-end, but the text that I put in the caption text area doesn’t seem to be displaying anywhere…how do I get that to display? Or if there currently isn’t a way available through the backend, could you tell me the code to go make it happen myself in the theme files via FTP?

If you have make a screenshot of that how would you like to make a display of the caption in your site then based on your screenshot i can make a code for you and if its more than half an hour of work. I will charge $40 per hour.

Thanks…could you see if it’s not over half an hour? If it looks like it’ll be more than that, I’ll just have to find somewhere else to put the text that I had put there. I had it there originally because she wants it displayed (the fact that it was missing was the first thing she mentioned when she looked at the finished site) but it doesn’t seem like enough for its own page and it happens to be the exact same songs that I was given lyrics for to put up so it’d just make life so much easier if it’d work out…Here are screen shots of both front and back end. Thank you so much for your help….
The person I made the site for isn’t willing to spend more $$…I know because I asked already about a premium plugin that was needed (only $15 or so, would’ve solved so much too) and she said no so I doubt she’ll be ok with it…so if it’s going to be too intense and going to cost $40+ then just let me know, I’ll just have to figure something out.

We tried adding this caption option but it messes around with the layout. But we will consider this in future updates possibly
